A practice built on evidence and precision — modelled, mapped and signed

Our Philosophy

A practice rooted in water and evidence. We model catchments, map flood behaviour and design what manages both — modelling, data and sign-off under one roof, working closely with pilots, surveyors and civil engineers. The evidence behind the approval carries through to IFC — no double handling, no remodelling. Every number traceable, every map defensible, every recommendation one a client can act on. Small enough to move at the speed of the project; rigorous enough to stand behind the result.

The Principal

Modelling, approvals and engineering sign-off in one workflow — working closely with pilots, surveyors and civil engineers.

Evidence built once carries through approvals to construction — modelled, mapped and signed.

Water & Environment

Blake Marxsen is a hydrologist and environmental engineer — MIEAust, BEng (Environmental) with Honours, Murdoch University — working in flood hydrology, catchment and floodplain modelling, surface water management and hydraulic design from Denmark, Western Australia.

Blake has led water and environment work across Australia, North America, South America and Asia-Pacific — from water resources engineering on remote mine sites to regional leadership of a civil, water and environment business, and director-level delivery across the energy, chemicals and resources sectors.

His record spans dam break analysis and dam safety audits, calibrated hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, surface water management plans and drainage design — including leading the detailed design of stormwater and flood infrastructure for one of the world's largest LNG facilities and carrying it through approvals into construction.
